Partnership: an agreement for digital solutions for SMEs

The Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Handicrafts, Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo, and the CEO of Pay Rem Group Africa, André Bouassa, signed a memorandum of understanding on October 11 in Brazzaville to support digital and technological projects.

“Our partner, Pay Rem Group Africa, will support us in training, the design of digital and technological solutions, but also help us raise financing in this area,” explained the Minister of SMEs and Crafts, Jacqueline Lydia Mikolo, discussing the challenges of this agreement.

Furthermore, this partnership aims to enlighten executives, agents of this ministerial department and project leaders who interact in the SME sector on the financial model for new technologies. “Often, we do not know how to set up projects in this area in a way that does not weigh too heavily on the State budget,” the minister said.

Commitments

In implementing this agreement, the Minister undertook to provide Pay Rem Group Africa with all the information necessary to ensure the proper execution of services, monitor initiatives and implement solutions proposed by the partner within the framework of the government strategy.

For its part, Pay Rem Group Africa will provide, among other things, digital and financial services that meet the specific needs of the ministry and its affiliates, and seek funding for digital projects. The list of commitments here is not exhaustive. “As part of this memorandum of understanding that allows us to establish a business relationship with the ministry, we will provide the means and expertise in technology,” said Pay Rem Group Africa CEO André Bouassa. According to the Minister of SMEs and Crafts, the signing of this agreement is just a starting point. The best is, without a doubt, yet to come.
