The Beginning of a Purpose-Driven Path
With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, Tracey’s professional roots run deep. Inspired by a desire to serve, she began her career intent on improving the systems that affect everyday lives. Over time, she rose to lead IT innovation at Inova Health System, using technology to drive better outcomes for patients and providers alike.
But Tracey’s journey didn’t stop at systems and servers. Her healing experiences and passion for dance led to the creation of Healing Fire Studios—a space where faith, movement, and mindset intersect. Here, she empowers women to find strength through dance, coaching, and holistic wellness.
Resilience in the Face of Adversity
Tracey’s story is marked by resilience. As a woman of colour in a male-dominated tech field, she encountered the challenges of bias and underrepresentation. Balancing a demanding career with motherhood and community service brought further trials.
Her faith never wavered. When her daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour, Tracey faced the unimaginable. Guided by prayer and supported by loved ones, she walked with her daughter through treatment and recovery. That daughter is now a thriving high school senior—a testament to the strength of a mother’s love.
To also lose her eldest son to senseless gun violence in August 2022, Tracey faced another unimaginable heartbreak. Yet, through it all, her faith remained steadfast, becoming an even deeper source of strength and purpose.
These life experiences shaped the essence of Tracey’s work. “Purpose is born in the fire,” she says. And out of her own fire came a mission to help others rise.
Blending Healthcare and Holistic Healing
What sets Tracey apart is her seamless integration of healthcare innovation and holistic empowerment. As a certified Integrative Health & Mindset Coach, licensed dance instructor, and soon-to-be ordained Holistic Minister, she uses every facet of her expertise to create safe spaces for healing.
Healing Fire Studios and the Healing Fire Foundation support women from minority and underserved communities. Through these platforms, Tracey provides access to wellness services, movement therapy, and faith-based coaching—grounded in the belief that every person has a divine spark worth nurturing.

Tracey draws daily inspiration from her children and her faith. Her guiding scripture, Proverbs 31:25—“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future”—captures her spirit perfectly.
She is most proud of being a vessel through which others find healing and purpose. “If I’m remembered for one thing,” she says, “let it be that I helped others ignite their fire and walk boldly in their divine calling.”
Looking Ahead with Fire and Vision
As she expands Healing Fire Studios and continues her leadership journey in healthcare, Tracey is setting the stage for a new generation of multidimensional leaders. She believes professionals can be strategic and soulful, analytical and creative, powerful and kind.
“Although we are dealt a difficult hand or circumstances beyond our control, we can prevail. We can heal and lead by example—leaving a legacy for our family generations to come,” she shares.
